Healthcare data stewardship is becoming more important as systems digitize, EHRs are utilized more, and AI and machine learning algorithms need reliable data.
Data stewardship encompasses HIPAA, GDPR, governance, quality, and metadata. Data stewardship that keeps data accurate, trustworthy, and accessible to clinicians, researchers, and administrators may enhance patient outcomes and healthcare business efficiency. Healthcare data asset management is outlined in data governance. Data governance frameworks correct problems via standards, input methods, and auditing technologies.
Ensure healthcare data quality. Quality data allows accurate diagnosis, treatment, and healthcare analytics. Data stewardship monitors data quality for duplication, missing data, and discrepancies. These concerns may avoid patient care mistakes and ensure healthcare practitioners get correct information.
